Skill For All Terms of Use

1. About Skill For All

Skill For All is a digital learning initiative operated by Ladli Foundation Trust through www.skillforall.org.

These Terms govern registration, course enrolment, assessments, certificates, learning materials and use of the Skill For All platform.

By creating an account, enrolling in a course or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and the Skill For All Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

Skill For All courses are currently available to learners aged 16 to 28 years.

Learners aged 18 years or above may register independently.

Learners aged 16 or 17 years may register only with the valid consent of a parent or lawful guardian. Skill For All may request age or consent verification where necessary.

Users who do not meet the eligibility requirements must not register or use the platform.

3. Account Registration

Users may be required to provide information such as:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Date of birth
  • Educational details
  • City, state or institution
  • Parent or guardian details, where applicable

Users must:

  • Provide accurate and updated information.
  • Keep their login credentials confidential.
  • Maintain only one personal account.
  • Not share, sell or transfer their account.
  • Immediately report unauthorised account access.

Skill For All may suspend accounts created using false, misleading or incomplete information.

4. Course Access

Skill For All currently provides courses without any enrolment or subscription fee.

Course access may be:

  • Open to all eligible learners.
  • Limited to selected age groups, institutions or programme beneficiaries.
  • Supported by CSR partners, educational institutions, government bodies or programme partners.
  • Available for a specified period.

Registration does not automatically provide access to every course or programme available on the platform.

Skill For All may update, replace, temporarily suspend or discontinue a course for legal, technical, operational or quality-related reasons.

5. Learning Materials

All course videos, assessments, presentations, designs, text, graphics, certificates and other materials are owned by or licensed to Ladli Foundation Trust.

Users receive a limited, personal, non-transferable and revocable right to use the materials only for individual learning.

Users must not:

  • Download course materials unless a download option is expressly provided.
  • Copy, record, reproduce, sell or distribute course content.
  • Use course materials for unauthorised commercial purposes.
  • Remove logos, copyright notices or ownership information.

No ownership rights are transferred to the user.

6. Assessments and Certificates

Certificates may be issued after completion of the required lessons, assessments, assignments or activities.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a Skill For All certificate:

  • Confirms course participation or completion.
  • Is not an academic degree, diploma or government licence.
  • Does not guarantee employment, internship, admission, promotion or income.

Skill For All does not promise or guarantee employment after course completion.

For information regarding possible job or internship opportunities, learners may contact Ladli Foundation Trust separately.

Certificates may be withheld or cancelled in cases of cheating, plagiarism, impersonation, account sharing or submission of false information.

7. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

  • Share or transfer their account.
  • Use automated tools or bots to complete lessons or assessments.
  • Cheat, plagiarise or impersonate another person.
  • Upload unlawful, harmful, abusive or discriminatory content.
  • Attempt to access another user's account.
  • Introduce malware or interfere with platform security.
  • Misuse certificates or falsely claim affiliation with Ladli Foundation Trust.
  • Use the platform for unlawful or unauthorised activities.

8. Institutional and Sponsored Enrolment

Where a learner is enrolled through a school, college, NGO, employer, government body, CSR partner or sponsoring institution, Skill For All may share limited information with that organisation, including:

  • Enrolment status
  • Course progress
  • Assessment results
  • Completion status
  • Certificate status
  • Participation information

Only information reasonably required for programme administration, monitoring and reporting will be shared.

9. Account Suspension and Closure

Skill For All may restrict, suspend or terminate an account where:

  • These Terms are violated.
  • False information is provided.
  • Fraud, cheating or certificate misuse occurs.
  • Platform security is threatened.
  • The user engages in abusive or unlawful conduct.

Users may request account closure at any time.

Account closure may result in loss of course access, saved progress, assignments and certificates available through the account.

10. Platform Availability

Ladli Foundation Trust will make reasonable efforts to maintain the platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical problems, security updates, internet issues or third-party service failures.

11. Disclaimer

Skill For All is provided for education and skill development.

Ladli Foundation Trust does not guarantee:

  • Employment, internship or income.
  • Admission to an educational institution.
  • Acceptance of certificates by every employer or institution.
  • Continuous availability of every course.
  • Error-free operation of the platform.
  • Accuracy of information available on independent third-party websites.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

12. Privacy

Personal information will be collected and handled according to the Skill For All Privacy Policy.

Optional promotional communication will be sent only where the user has provided the required consent.

13. Changes to These Terms

Ladli Foundation Trust may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, technology, courses or platform services.

Important changes may be communicated through the platform or the user's registered email address.

Continued use of the platform after an update will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, the parties should make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter through written communication and mutual discussion.

Subject to applicable consumer-protection laws, unresolved disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
